MISTLETOE KISS COCKTAIL
Updated: Dec 19, 2021
Have you ever looked at a recipe and thought to yourself that there was absolutely no way it was going to taste good? That is exactly what we thought when we came across the recipe for this Mistletoe Kiss! Literally three main ingredients - vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup - a sure recipe for a bitter beer face, right?!
Well, we were completely and utterly WRONG! This cocktail is not only simple, but it is also super affordable for a batch cocktail AND it is absolutely, positively delightful!

We served this at house 4 of our progressive dinner, in these super cute Christmas ornament glasses we found at the Family Dollar store, alongside mashed potatoes and stuffed cabbage rolls and it was the perfect compliment to such a dinner!
We went the batch recipe route, but will also include a recipe for a smaller amount of drinks for you as well!

LARGE BATCH
INGREDIENTS (makes about 10 drinks)
30 oz vodka (3 ¾ cups)
5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice **fresh squeezed lemon juice is key here!**
10 oz (1 ¼ cups) rosemary simple syrup (triple the recipe below)
topped with a dash of club soda
fresh cranberries (frozen work too) for garnishment
sprigs of rosemary for garnishment
DIRECTIONS
Combine vodka, simple syrup, and lemon juice into a large container and stir well
When ready to serve - pour over ice and top with a dash of club soda
Garnish with cranberries and a sprig of rosemary for the festive look!
SMALL BATCH
INGREDIENTS (makes 2 drinks)
6 oz vodka
1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice **fresh squeezed lemon juice is key here!**
2 oz rosemary simple syrup (recipe below)
topped with a dash of club soda
fresh cranberries (frozen work too) for garnishment
sprigs of rosemary for garnishment
DIRECTIONS
Combine vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup into a shaker filled with ice
Shake well
Strain into two glasses filled with ice
Top with small amount of club soda
Garnish with cranberries and rosemary sprigs
HOMEMADE ROSEMARY SIMPLE SYRUP (triple this recipe for large batch)
Add 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water to a pot and bring to a boil
Add 1 sprig of rosemary
Let steep for 10 minutes to infuse the water with the rosemary
Remove rosemary sprigs and pour into a glass bottle for storage

This cocktail not only looks super festive for the Holiday season but it also packs quite a punch! Don't say we didn't warn you 😉
