FALL DINNER PARTY
We LOVE fall here on Jasmine - everything about it... the cool temperatures, the outdoor fires, s'mores and sweatshirts; how can you not love it! We decided to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather we have been having to throw an outdoor fall dinner party!

A dinner party is the same whether you're hosting indoors or outdoors - you can focus on the meal and drinks and let the rest 'fall' into place. (see what we did thereš¤£) We instantly knew we wanted to have chili, the ultimate cool weather meal! Luckily for us, chili is incredibly easy to make: put everything in the crock pot the morning of your party and boom, you're done! We used a family recipe that has only a little heat which made it the perfect family friendly meal to provide.

Chili is such a filling hearty meal that we didn't need too much else. Just some sliced artisan bread, a delicious fall salad with pumpkin seeds and cranberries and a fall inspired charcuterie board created by Graze. If you're in the central PA area we highly recommend trying her out! However, if you're not in our local area we recently did a post on how to put together a fall inspired charcuterie board, check it out here.
We set up our antique wooden dining table (which comes apart very easily thank goodness!) but no worries if you don't happen to have a wooden table lying around, you could easily set up a folding table and cover it with flannel blankets to give an equally cute fall vibe! The table runner we found from target had the perfect muted fall colors and we found these amazing leather chargers so we ran with the brown and grey theme. Grey napkins were placed on the leather chargers with white bowls set nicely on top. Rose gold Moscow mule cups pulled the entire fall inspired table-scape together. With the grey, leather and rose gold table-scape complete all we needed to decorate the table was a giant grey pumpkin and then we let the food take center stage.

If we're gathering anytime the weather hits below 75 degrees, we sit around a fire. This fall dinner party couldn't be any different. We had a fire roaring with chairs placed around it. Mums, pumpkins and a hay bale filled the area to really give off it a fall vibe! Next to the fire pit we placed a step ladder filled with rolled up blankets and a chalk board sign saying "get cozy"! The perfect saying for the feel we were trying to achieve, we wanted our guests to enjoy dinner and then grab a blanket and relax around the fire.
A fire isn't complete without s'mores... so a tray was set up for a DIY s'more station! Having them out and available was perfect for the laid back vibe we were going for; but for a real treat check out this post on how to put together a smore's station.

You can't host a dinner party without offering a signature drink... well at least we can't! For this outdoor fall dinner party we offered a Pumpkin Spiced Martini, nothing screams fall quite like pumpkin spice! It was one of our latest Toast to Tuesdays, you can find it here! And trust us... you NEED to try it!

TIP: to keep it low cost like we did, use things you already have around your house... all of those pumpkins and mums were simply moved from the front of the house to the back yard for this little shindig!
We had so much both setting up for this fall dinner party and enjoying it! Eating chili around a fire with a pumpkin spiced martini... sounds like a pretty perfect evening to us! We hope we gave you some inspiration to throw your own outdoor fall dinner party! Share with us below with your favorite part of this party!
