CUPID'S KISS - KIDS VALENTINE DRINK

Updated: Feb 5

With some fun Valentine's Day events around the corner we wanted to share kid-friendly Cupid's Kiss drink! Coming off of the holidays this one is a little indulgent but totally worth it! It's rich and creamy with a little fizz, perfect for your upcoming GALentine's Day party or even a fun game night with the family!

The Cupid's Kiss drink, a kid friends drink for Valentine's Day, served in a tall collins glass with red sugar crystals on the rim of the glass as a garnish. Candy hearts are scattered on the counter around the glass and a black and white striped straw is sticking out of the glass.

Let's be honest - when you see the ingredients, you are going to say this is almost a dessert, and you would be right. However, once mixed all together this sweet treat turns into a delicious creamy sipper.

INGREDIENTS

  • Vanilla Ice Cream

  • Raspberry Sherbet

  • Fresh Raspberries

  • Lemon-Lime soft drink

  • Red Sugar (optional for rim)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Dip rim of champagne flute in honey then in red sugar to rim (optional)

  • Drop tablespoon size scoop of vanilla ice cream into the bottom of a champagne flute.

  • Top with four raspberries

  • Drop tablespoon size scoop of raspberry sherbet on top of the raspberries.

  • Top with four raspberries

  • Add one more tablespoon size scoop of vanilla ice cream.

  • Fill glass about 3/4 full of lemon-lime soft drink

  • Mix with spoon until creamy

  • Garnish with two additional raspberries.

We tried this one on a snow day and it was a hit with kids as well as adults. AND even though it's dry January....you can put an "adult" twist on this drink if you really want to. A simple substitute of champagne for the lemon lime soft drink and voila you've got an adult only treat!

Let us know if you give this one a try! Tag us in your photos on Insta - we'd love to see!
